The MICA PGDCM 2018-20 notification for MICAT I December 2017 is out! The application process shall begin from 26th September 2017 however the below details are already published on MICA website.
MICA is a top rated institute, MICA offers an AICTE approved PGDM-C, equivalent to an MBA with specialisations in Marketing Research, Digital Communication Management, Brand Management, Media Management and Advertising Management. Established in 1991, MICA (formerly known as Mudra Institute of Communications, Ahmedabad), is the only residential institute in the country, and perhaps in the Asia-Pacific region, dedicated to creating leadership in Strategic Marketing and Communication. MICA, an autonomous, non-profit institution, offers a wide-range of academic programmes including three residential programs: the Post Graduate Diploma in Management-Communications (PGDM-C), Crafting Creative Communication (CCC) and Fellow Programme in Management-Communications (FPM-C).
The registration process of MICA (PGDM-C 2018-20 Aspirants) is given below:
Step:1 Register for the CAT or XAT or GMAT exam by visiting their respective websites.
Step:2 Go to MICA website, register for MICAT and complete the application registration process.
The application process for MICAT and MICA Ahmedabad- School of Ideas is with the same Application form by paying an additional amount. MICA conducts MICAT it’s own entrance test MICAT. MICAT is a Computer Based Test (CBT) and will be conducted twice for selection of PGDM-C 2018-20 batch. Better of the two MICAT Scores will be considered.

|Eligibility for MICA/MICAT||Admission to the PGDM (C) programme requires a Bachelor's degree (in keeping with the 10 + 2 + 3 system) or an equivalent qualification in any discipline recognised by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). Candidates appearing for final examinations towards a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) are also eligible to apply.
Candidates who demonstrate aptitude for expressing, assessing, and /or conceiving ideas that move people to action and achieve business results tend to stand a better chance of being shortlisted.

|MICA 2nd Stage Selection Process||A Group Exercise which is divided in 2 parts. A group shall be consist of 9 to 12 participants. 1st activity- one group shall design a strategy as per the case study and the 2nd activity would be to perform the strategy made by another group. 15 minutes for each exercise followed by a PI for 45 minutes to 1 hour. Spot offers, rejects and waitlists are offered.
Note: Duration and panel members vary with location. In many cases, PIs at the end of the day were shorter than the ones in the morning.
