| It sure is a possibility, especially the questions from the verbal and quant areas can definitely be solved. DI is reportedly time-consuming, but f you happen to solve quant and verbal in quick time, all 60 in the given time is very much probable. |

| You will get an SMS and e-mail from Prometric to that effect if it is cancelled. In any case, I would advise you to go and check out at your assigned centre. |

| We would advise you to attempt the questions you are sure about and avoid guessing. Also, you can aim at attempting 75-80% of the English section with similar accuracy. |

| Don't take more than a test a day...analyse every test that you take. Lastly, do go through all the basics: the idea is to not miss out on easy scoring opportunities. |

| there have been so many glitches and of such varied naturre that it is clear that the test has not been the same for everyone..It is now upto the CAT authorities who are meeting today to take a call....Just ensuring that everyone is able to take the test is not enough.. |

| I suggest that you practice as many DI sets as possible in the given period. Important - do them correct without worrying about the time taken per question at the time of practice. Idea here is to get them right. Also, work on your calculation and number crunching skills. Before starting to solve a set spend enough time to understand the basic data given in the set before getting into individual questions. This will help you avoid silly mistakes committed due to lack of understanding the main data-set. |

| Long way to go.... but yes I think it will be rescheduled. But I hope things are sorted out much before that stage. |

| Currently, you do not have a choice in the rescheduling process...as they have mentioned in the mail that there is a limited availability of slots and that you may also have to take a test in some other city. They have however asked you to call a particular number if you have a problem with the new slot |

| CAT '09 is not one where a great deal of strategy comes into play since there is enough time for you to do as many questions as you possibly can...the questions are at an easier level and DI is only relatively tough.... So all you have to focus on is trying to solving as many as you can and avoid making silly mistakes... |

| I do not want to comment on the sanctity of what others are providing...but let me assure you that IMS will not give you any indicators that have little or no statistical validity. |

| No..it is very difficult to make a marked difference to your vocab skills at this stage. any case the vocab questions that have appeared in the last few year CAT papers have been very basic. So concentrate on other areas like grammar and reasoning in the last few days. |

| The difficulty of other exams is independent of the CAT. I do not expect the XAT an JMET to be any easier than before just because the CAT level has dropped this year. |

| You can take your photo id and a supporting document like electricity bill for your new address(just as evidence if reqd). There have been students who have been allowed to take the test despite this problem and without furnishing any eveidence. |

| This is absolutely untrue...the review button should ideally be used when you have to navigate across the test while the next/prev buttons can be used at all times during the test. |

| As all questions belonging to a particular section were together...the sectional cut-offs still cannot be ruled out. And, traditionally, the CAT has always required students to be equally competent across areas and I do not see any reason for them to change this requirement. |

| Different institutes (IIMs) have different cut-offs based on different weightage given to the CAT performance, work ex and academics. | Do not worry...you can use the 'text highlighting' feature while reading the passage. This is almost akin to underlining or marking important parts of the passage while reading it on a test booklet...you can also use the rough pad to make important notes as you read the passage. |
