We’ve reached that time of the application season, when leading business schools are announcing their new MBA application deadlines for the upcoming 2016-2017 admissions. While there are still plenty of schools that are yet to announce new deadline dates, a lot of them have released their application deadlines, while some have also released their essays, questions and recommendation letters.

As an MBA applicant, it’s important for you to keep track of application deadlines and decide by when you will be best prepared to submit your application. While there is a lot of debate around whether or not to put an application in for Round 1 of the application cycle, the best time to apply is when you believe you have the best job possible with your application.

If you have to rush and cut corners to meet a deadline, you will mostly unprepared to submit your application by that deadline. At all the highly selective business schools, admission officials are looking for reasons to cut you from the pool and as many as 80% of the candidates in any school’s applicant pool are usually fully qualified to attend.

That’s the reason why you should put your best foot forward when you apply. At the same time, if you are applying as an international student, you need to make sure that your application is typically submitted in the first two rounds only. This is done to allocate suitable time for visa processing.

The application deadlines released so far include the following schools:
