IMS offers the most comprehensive and exhaustive study material for test preparation. Our Basic Reference Material (BRM) comprises booklets with over 3,000 questions for concept learning and practice. With our BRM pack, students will also get access to online practice tests that are comprehensive and provide adequate practice for effective preparation.
At IMS, we understand that all students are unique and require personal attention and handling. Our faculty deal with all students differently for them to gain the conceptual knowledge required for the test.
Our approach to our classroom programs is based on the fact that the BRMs exhaustively deal with all topics tested in the entrance tests. Students need to go through the relevant topics in the concept books and attempt the corresponding exercises in the workbook BEFORE attending any class.
IMS classroom variants are designed to revise basics, teach important concepts, illustrate the application of the concepts and assess the learning imparted in class through various solved and unsolved examples. However, the time spent on each of these elements is different for different variants on the basis of the "perceived need" for each of the elements.
After the Class:
The student is expected to revise the concepts that are taught in class with the help of the BRM and the student copy provided in class. The student should necessarily complete all the BRM exercises corresponding to the topics taught in a class as well as the home assignment problems provided in the student copy.
Taking competitive tests means that students must always be able to assess their individual performance vis-à-vis their peers. The most important stage of preparation is to take simulated tests, and IMS's simulated CETs, or SimCETs, are the closest to the CET in every way. With both Proctored SimCETs and take home SimCETs, coupled with detailed performance evaluation reports and analyses, IMS ensures that through regular practice, every student is thoroughly prepared for the final test.
Today, information overload is one of the major challenges faced by the student community. While there is a plethora of information available online or otherwise on B-schools, entrance tests, test preparation strategies, application deadlines, eligibility criteria, specialised programmes, etc, it has become increasingly difficult for students to find the “right information”. This is where IMS, as an expert with nearly four decades of specialised experience, can help the students find the institute best suited for them, and eventually, their future career path.
IMS provides personalised counselling to every student with regard to:
Creating an effective study plan for entrance tests
Institute program short listing based on student profile/interest
Form filling assistance for test and institute application process
Any other information that the student may need during the selection process
