SBI PO Prelims 2017 Day 2 analysis

The Big Day for SBI PO Prelims showed papers being between Easy to Moderate levels. The Day – 2 of the exam is over. IMS – Team BGE brings the Tier I [Day 2] detailed analysis. The LOD of today’s exam was ranging between Moderate to Difficult for all the Aspirants. More than HARD work, the aspirants who did SMART work should be able to clear the SBI PO Examination.

The overall Quantitative Ability section was Moderate.  It brought out some really good questions for the aspirants to solve.

English Language
Reading Comprehension 10 1 passage with synonyms /antonyms , direct questions from the passage
Sentence Correction ( Phrase Replacement) 10 Easy to Moderate Level sentences
Cloze Test 10 Multiple blank passage; with 10 blanks was seen.

The English Language section was Easy to Moderate. This section didn’t offer a great variety of topics. Just 3 topics were given, with a few moderate level tricky questions.

Inequalities 5 Moderate
Puzzles & Arrangements 20 Linear, Floor, Order & Ranking, Comparison based ( 4 sets were seen which made the section time – consuming )
Miscellaneous (Blood Relations, Order and Ranking Coding and Decoding, Direction Sense, etc ) 10 Time Consuming; LOD : Moderate

Just like 2016, Even this year SBI decided to scrap the SYLLOGISM questions. This section proved to be very time consuming owing to the 4 sets of Puzzles provided in the exam.

Overall, the SBI PO Tier I paper on Day 2 seemed moderate. All aspirants were very happy as the number of attempts most people made was fairly high. We will bring the detailed analysis for the next week too.
