Your immediate hurdle in the path to fulfilling your career dreams is the GD & PI. Begin your briefing on GD & PI performance with a session with the past winners; achievers who cracked the CAT and then went on to ace the GDs and PIs of the IIMs and other Top B-schools. Here's what you can learn from them:

Power Session 4: GD Prep Warm-up

A background orientation on GD is essential before you begin GD preparation.

Studying the trend: You'll begin with analyzing the GD topics of the past 5 years for trends: This will help narrow down the scope of topics, to help you prepare better.
GD grading parameters: You'll get a grounding in GD grading parameters. This will help you adopt the right strategy while preparing.
Live GD recordings: You'll see videos of the country's best GDs in action. This will help you understand what it takes to make it or break it at the final frontier of Top B-school selection.

Power Session 5: GD Fundamental Training

Move deeper into GD preparation by learning essential performance enhancing fundamentals.

Fundamental 1: Approach a GD Topic from multiple perspectives.

For example, if the topic were "Banning Alcohol Consumption", most aspirants would restrict their participation with a single-dimensional perspective like violation of personal freedom. This expert-led session will enable you to approach any GD topic from various perspectives covering socio-economical, political, legal and intellectual.

Fundamental 2: When faced with an unknown topic, explore creatively.

For example, the topic is “Cryogenics”. If you are clueless, here's what you do. Tune in to the initial responses coming from those around you. Once you have a basic background of the field, use your existing reservoir of knowledge and logical reasoning to creatively explore the possibilities and effects this field could have on other areas.

Power Session 6: Exploring GD Topics

Following GD strategies would be a whirlwind tour of GD-focused topics. In this session, industry experts will clue you into past, present and future trends across fields ranging from Economics to Engineering to technology to business to medicine to space and more. Fields within our daily visual and mental sphere which are most likely to yield the topic in a GD.

Power Session 7: GD Simulation

After expansive theory comes exhaustive practice. You'll be put through intense GD simulations with fellow aspirants who've received B-school calls like you. The same individuals you're likely to come face-to-face with in the actual GD. Each simulation would feature an expert panelist and complete feedback on your performance.

Power Session 8: PI Simulation
