The Common Admission Test (CAT - 2008) is scheduled to be held on 16th November, 2008. Programs are equipped with the following crucial components:
-
30 Intensive workshops*: These have been designed and developed on the basis of extensive research and analysis of the past 15 years CAT papers. The workshops have been structured to not only help assimilate the concepts required but also build the necessary confidence to take on any CAT question. The workshops are supplemented with 60 section tests that enable you to practise what you have learnt.
-
16 SimCATs: These tests are conducted in more than 130 centres across the country and have a student base of about 50,000 students. This ensures that you are able to get a truly simulated experience of taking the CAT and are also able to benchmark yourself against worthwhile competition. Each of these tests are very similar in nature to the CAT and a diligent analysis of your performance in these tests will surely enable you to enhance your performance on 16th November, 2008.
-
SimCAT feedbacks*: The classroom sessions coupled with a detailed analysis of your performance on MyIMS (the IMS student page) help you to analyse how one could have possibly maximised one’s score in the test, thereby clearing the sectional and overall cut-offs. The inputs received in these sessions will enable you to develop your test taking strategy and skills.
-
5 Classic CATs and 10 AceCATs*: These are tests to be taken at home and have been designed to provide you with various possible CAT structures to help you fine-tune your strategies and Test Taking Skills. The objective of these tests is not only to provide you with sufficient test taking practice at home but also to make you structure independent(any change in the CAT structure should not baffle you).
*The above components will be included depending upon the program you have enrolled for
As an IMS student, please ensure that you make complete use of the above tools to not only improve your performance but also to get the all important GD-PI call from the IIMs. To enrol for any of the CAT Training Programs, you may visit your nearest IMS Learning Centre.
