For international students, financial aid in any form is
almost always merit-based, and not need-based. Hence, if you
plan to apply for financial assistance, remember that you
need a consistently good academic record (preferably 60% &
above throughout) and outstanding GRE scores (1400+). Universities
typically offer financial aid in the form of scholarships/
fellowships, assistantships, tuition waivers or on-campus
jobs.
Some of the funding options that you can consider outside
the universities are listed below:
Inlaks Foundation Scholarship (All Countries):
Return travel fare + tuition fees + living expenses
Nehru Centenary British Scholarship (UK):
Air fare + tuition fees + living expenses
Agatha Harrison Memorial Fellowship (UK):
Economy-class airfare + £10,000 p.a. stipend
Junior Fellowships Scholarships (US): $50,000
International Visiting Scholarship (US):
Full tuition waiver
