There are more than 1100 management institutes in India offering a variety of Post-Graduate & Doctoral Programmes in Management. Many institutes also offer Executive MBA programmes for working professionals.

Of these 1100 options, you need to narrow down your choice and choose a few. A tough task indeed! The Institute Tracker aims to give you all the necessary information to make a correct choice.

We have categorized the Top 50 B Schools into five grades - Crème, A+, A, B+ & B. Categories have been assigned based on the statistics on placements (foreign and domestic), salaries (highest, lowest and average) & the number of students placed. The rest of the institutes are placed in the "Other Institutes" category.

Our categorization on the Institute Tracker is independent of B-school surveys conducted by various bodies. A core committee of IMS employees & associates has categorized institutes based on their placement figures either sent in by the institutes or collected during our interactions with them.

Our students studying at various B-schools have also given valuable inputs in this exercise.
