The following components are generally used in selecting candidates for admission to a Bachelor&'s degree program at Alliance.
1. Previous academic record (X and XII).
2. Score in a Conceptual and Aptitude Test - developed and administered by the Institution.
3. Score in an Oral Presentation to be made by applicants (3 minutes maximum) - to be administered by the Institution. The topic for the presentation will be provided shortly prior to the presentation.
4. An assessment of the applicant's overall aptitude for pursuing an under-graduate program in management - to be assessed by the institution through a personal interview.
Eligibility:

Admission Information:
Selection is based on two-tier process viz.,
(i) SRM Entrance Examination and
(ii) Counseling, is adopted for admission to SRM University.
Only the candidates who take up the SRM Entrance Examination conducted every year by the SRM University will be considered for admission to the various degree/ post- graduate programmes of the university.
The admission will be purely on the basis of the marks scored in the SRM Entrance Examination. Candidates will be short listed based on the performance in the SRM Entrance Examination. Short listed candidates will be called for counseling at SRM University main campus at Kattankulathur, Chennai and Ghaziabad Uttar Pradesh and provisional admission will be made considering the marks scored in entrance examination, preference of the candidate and availability of seats in the respective disciplines.
Eligibility:
HSC / Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics / Diploma in relevant brach as lateral entry in the second year.
B. Tech in Biotechnology, Genetics, Bio-informatics: HSC / Equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology / Diploma in relevant brach as lateral entry in the second year.

Candiates will be selected on the basis their performance in Entrance Test (SET) conducted by Symbiosis International University on 5th May, 2007. between 2.00pm to 4.30 pm

HSC (10+2) with minimum 50% marks. 45% for SC / ST candidates. Those who have apppeared for standard 12th Exams may also apply.
