Each team would consist of 3 participants only. All the participants in a team should be from the same college.

Only undergraduates are eligible to participate in the Quiz.

Each participant must bring the IQ admit card along with his/her college ID for participating in the Quiz.

Each team must be present at the venue 15 minutes before the start of the Quiz. Late comers will be disqualified from participating in the Quiz.

No Books or reference material will be allowed into the venue. Carrying these would result in disqualification.

Contestants will accept all rules as final and agree to abide by them. It is at the sole discretion of the Quiz Master to decide the validity of all answers at all levels.

If at any point during the Quiz, points won and time taken do not produce a winner and/or runners up, a tiebreaker will be applied at the sole discretion of the Quiz Master.

In case of any dispute, the decision of the Quiz Master will be final.

Only the winning team at each of the city finals would be taken to Mumbai for the Semi-finals and the National Finals. Travel to Mumbai would be provided to all members of the winning teams.

The address/other details of the lodging facilities in Mumbai and a letter authorizing contestants for occupying the same upon arriving in Mumbai would be issued to the winning team at the local IMS Learning Centre.

If the team or any member of a team fails to reach the venue on time for the National Finals, they stand to be disqualified. IMS does not stand liable for any delay due to flights etc.

Details of prizes are correct at the time of entry but events may occur that render the awarding of particular prizes impossible due to reasons beyond the control of IMS. In such an event, IMS would, at its absolute discretion, vary or amend the awarding of particular prizes and the participant agrees that no liability would be attached to IMS.

In case of National Winner (Prize: 10 day study tour of Australia), faces the situation of visa rejection by the embassy, IMS will give a due compensation to the winners at its own discretion.

All other prizes are non-transferable, non-negotiable, non-refundable with no cash alternative.
