A major structural change was mentioned in this year’s bulletin - that
the test would be of 3-hour duration and comprise 120 questions instead
on the 2-hour paper with 150 questions of last year. The general
apprehension was that the level of difficulty would increase
drastically. But, fortunately nothing of that sort happened. There was
no major change in terms of the types and levels of difficulty of the
questions. In fact, this year students got more time to solve the
questions, which could improve their overall attempts. So the focus
should have been on accuracy.
