Is the test too tough?
The difficulty level of the test varies from easy to average. The tests are getting tougher keeping in view the increasing competition but are still comparatively easier than engineering and other leading tests. The cut off score is high since the questions are on the easier side. Two hours of dedicated study every day would ensure that one gets through any law entrance exam. Also the syllabus of law entrance test is much lesser in comparison to test relating to engineering or medical.
Are the questions in the law entrance examination subjective?
CLAT, SET and all other important law entrance tests are fully objective in nature.

What is the eligibility criteria for CLAT 09?
10+2 examination or equivalent with not less than 50% marks for General and 45% for SC/ST/OBC and Persons with Disability. (Students taking qualifying examination in MARCH/ APRIL 2009 are also eligible to apply.
How are the BA/BBA/B.Com/B.Sc. LLB different from each other?
The BA/BBA/B.Com/B.Sc are hardly different except for their slightly varying curriculum.
Which is the better destination to apply for LLM USA or UK?
Both UK and USA are good destinations to obtain LLM degree. In top National law schools 10-20% students are opting for this option after completing BA.LLB. As a matter of fact the National Law Schools also offer post graduate degrees.
Are there any possibilities for good placements?
The 2003-2008 batches secured foreign placements in appreciable numbers with the offers coming in from the best firms in both UK and USA. The pay package offered by international law firms are highest salary Rs. 30Lakhs, average being Rs. 27Lakhs and the lowest being Rs. 26Lakhs.

The Application Forms are available from 12th January, 2009 at the branches of Indian Bank, State Bank of India and eleven National Law Schools. The addresses of the branches of banks are available on the website.
The Application Form can also be downloaded from the CLAT website and duly filled-in Form in own hand writing should be sent to the CLAT Office along with a demand draft for Rs. 2,500/- (Rs.2,000/- in case of SC/ST).
The last date for submission of duly filled-in Application Forms is 10th April, 2009.
Candidates who wish to apply under Foreign National Category are required to check the instructions and use the Application Form provided for that purpose on the CLAT website. For further information and details, candidates are required to visit the website of the concerned University.
