The Common Entrance Test (CET) is the entrance examination for the MMS (Master's in Management Studies) programme conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education for gaining admission into colleges in Maharashtra.

The CET is totally out of 240 marks. The split of the 240 marks are as follows
- Written Test - 200 marks. The duration of the test is 2 1/2 hours. The written test involves subjects like Math, English, Logic and Visual Reasoning. The test has no sections and no negative marking.
- GD - 17 marks
- PI - 17 marks
- Past Academic Record - 4 marks
- Work Experience - 2 marks (This experience must be with a company listed on the Stock Exchange, Mumbai.)

Correspondence Program :
The correspondence program is designed for students who are highly motivated and self disciplined, but are unable to attend classes due to academic/professional pressures. In this case the students will only be provided with the Study Material and Tests.
How to enroll
You can enroll at the IMS centre closest to you by submitting the following
- Enrolment form
- 2 recent stamp size photographs
- The fee is to be remitted by DD in favor of “IMS Learning Resources Pvt Ltd”. Payable at Mumbai. (Select centres also accept credit/debit card).
