XIMB is a unit of Xavier University, Bhubaneswar, India. XIMB is the flagship school of Xavier University. Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar (XIMB) owes its origin to a “social contract” between the Government of Odisha and the Odisha Jesuit Society in 1987. It is acknowledged internationally as a world-class business school, which provides quality management education and develops future-ready managers with strong ethics and values. Xavier University is promoted by XIMB and it has grown from the three decades of distinguished service by XIMB.
Eligibility for CAT
As per the eligibility criteria of CAT 2018, candidates should fulfill anyone of the following parameters:
-Completed Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with the required % of marks from a recognized university or institute as per the category*
-Completed professional degree (CA/CS/ICWA) with required percentage*.
-Should be in the final year of Bachelor’s degree with required percentage*.
-No Age limit.
* SC / ST / PWD candidates should have minimum 45%. For General and NC-OBC candidates, minimum is 50%.
Eligibility for NMAT
All test takers who complete the Test Registration process pay the test fee within the time specified and follow the published NMAT by GMAC™ exam terms and conditions may sit for the NMAT by GMAC™ exam. It is the responsibility of the test taker to understand the eligibility requirements of all the universities and schools to which he/she is interested in applying before registering for NMAT by GMAC™ exam. If the test taker registers for the test and then determine that he/she is ineligible for admission to the desired program, no test fee refund will be made. For the eligibility requirements, test takers are advised to check the websites of each university and school where they plan to apply.
Eligibility for XAT:
Recognized Bachelor’s Degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline. Those completing their final examination by June 10, 2019 may also apply.
All Indian candidates must appear for XAT 2019. However, NRI and Foreign candidates may apply through GMAT score.
XIMB MBA-BM, Global, HRM and SM programs eligibility:
Minimum three-year Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in any discipline, with at least 55% marks in aggregate, from a recognized University.
Final year degree students, who expect to complete their final examinations and other requirements for obtaining the degree by June 15, 2019, can also apply.
XIMB MBA RM program eligibility:
For RM program only:*The candidates who have secured the 1st, 2nd or 3rd position (in the institute/college/university) in their undergraduate program can apply directly, without a CAT/XAT/GMAT/X-GMAT score. Such applicants must submit a Certificate from the Head of the Institution stating their position. They will however, be required to attend the Personal Interview, if called.
MBA BM: Highest CTC: Rs. 21 Lakhs, Average CTC: Rs. 13.18 Lakhs
MBA HRM: Highest CTC: Rs. 19.75 Lakhs, Average CTC: Rs. 12.39 Lakhs
MBA RM: Highest CTC: Rs. 11 Lakhs, Average CTC: Rs. 7.32 Lakhs
MBA SM: Highest CTC: Rs. 8.94 Lakhs, Average CTC: Rs. 5.55 Lakhs

The application process of XIM Bhubaneswar (MBA 2019-21 Aspirants) is given below:
Register Online for CAT 2018/XAT 2019 /GMAT/NMAT by GMAC™ or X-GMAT to be conducted by Xavier University and complete the process by paying registration fees.
Note: Registering for XAT or CAT or GMAT or is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB's MBA-BM and Global programs.
Registering for XAT or CAT or GMAT or NMAT by GMAC™ is a prerequisite for applying to XIMB's MBA-HRM, MBA-RM and MBA- SM programs.
Once you have registered for the test, Click here to apply for XIM- B MBA programs, without this you shall not be eligible to participate in the admission process of XIMB.
Application fee is Rs.1,500/- for the first option, and Rs.700/- each for the subsequent options. Use single form for applying for multiple programs and/or through multiple tests.
Candidates applying via X-GMAT need to pay additional Rs.1,000/-

Admission process: Candidates short-listed on the basis of admission test (XAT, CAT, GMAT, or X-GMT) scores will be called for Group Discussion, Writing Ability Test and Personal Interview at Bangalore, Bhubaneswar, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kolkata or Mumbai. Candidates will have to meet their own travel/stay expenses for attending the interview session. The final selection will be based on the candidate's performance in XAT/CAT/GMAT/X-GMT, GD, Writing Ability Test, & Personal Interview, and will take into account the past academic record and relevant work experience.
2nd stage selection process: WAT for about 10 minutes (2 minutes to think, Word limit: Limited to the sheet) followed by Personal Interview (PI) for 15 minutes with three Panelists. (2 females, 1 male). For any WAT Topic, students had to tick one of two boxes- “For” or “Against” and then start writing appropriately.
