Eligibility for LSAT

LSAT-India does mention any eligibility for taking the test. However, candidates are expected to follow the terms and conditions laid down by the educational institute/university where candidates are planning to seek admission. However, most of the law schools in India follow the eligibility prescribed for CLAT. Minimum eligibility prescribed for undergraduate programs in law (BA/BBA LL.B) i.e. 5-year integrated LLB are as enlisted below:

  • Minimum 45% in class XII for candidates belonging to Unreserved/OBC/(Specially Abled Persons) Categories
  • Minimum 40% in class XII for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.
  • Students awaiting their class XII result can also appear for LSAT.
  • There is no upper age limit to take the test.
