The University of Delhi popularly known as Delhi University or DU was established in 1922. The University offers exceptional educational opportunities spanning over a wide range of programs and advanced curricula. The University’s robust educational enterprise consists of 90 Colleges, 16 Faculties, 87 Departments and 11 Centers, spread across North and South campuses covering the length and breadth of Delhi.
The Faculty of Law (Department of Law), University of Delhi is the law school of the University, established in 1924. Faculty of Law of DU has more than 130 teachers and about 7000 students at present including LL.B., LL.M., and Ph.D. students. It is completely funded by UGC and HRD Ministry. The present intake for LLB program is 2400. The Faculty of Law operates through three centers within its campus, namely, Campus Law Centre, Law Centre-I and Law Centre-II. Delhi University conducts DU LLB Entrance Exam in order to shortlist aspirants for admissions in three-year (six semesters) LL.B. course.
