- Mentioning the likely impact of the Proposal – 35%
- Detailing of the Proposal – 15%
- Inclusion in Actual Budget 2024 – 15%

Awards and Prizes
- The winning team will get Cash Prizes of Rs. 30,000/- + certificate of merit
- The runner up team will get Cash Prizes of Rs. 25,000/- + certificate of merit
- The second runner-up team will get Cash Prizes of Rs. 20,000/- + certificate of merit
- Next 5 Team (Not in the TOP 3) is to receive a cash prize of Rs. 5,000/- + certificate of merit.
- Prize money above ₹10,000 will be subject to a Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) as per government regulations.
TEAM FORMATION RULES
- Each team should have exactly 3 members
- All team members should be IMS enrolled students (across all CAT 24, CAT 25, CET 25, CMAT 25 programs.)
- Team members can be from different colleges, IMS centers or cities.
- No change in team is allowed once the team is registered
- Please register your teams by 11:59 PM, 21st July 2024
RULES TO UPLOAD BUDGET PROPOSAL
- The written solution needs to be uploaded here latest by 11:59 PM, 21st July 2024
- The written solution cannot exceed 600 words (excluding appendix & citation, if any)
- Formatting rules : Font : Times New Roman, font size 11 with 1.5 line spacing
- Document Format : Please submit Word Document versions only
- Please ensure that there is only one submission by the team ( preferably by the team leader)
- Please ensure the naming for the Budget Guru should be in the below-mentioned format

Budget Analysis Session and Result Announcement
- Registered teams will receive the invitation link of Budget Analysis session on 18th July 2024 before 5:00 pm
- The results will be announced on 29th July 2024
*The decision by IMS regarding short listing will be binding. We regret that we will be unable to share the scores for each participating team.
