The IIM I EPGP EPGP is specially designed to enhance knowledge, skills and capabilities essential for managing and leading organizations. It is meant for senior industry professionals, in middle-management roles.

Candidates are selected on the basis of factors such as:

  • CAT /GMAT® score
  • Academic performance
  • Work experience
  • Personal interviews
  • Relevance and pertinence of the candidate’s Statement of Purpose
  • Quality of the two professional recommendations submitted by the candidate 

Candidates need to demonstrate intellectual curiosity, leadership potential and the determination to succeed

All interested candidates should fill out the application form and mail it to EPGP Officer, Indian Institute of Management Indore, Prabhandh Shikhar, Rau-Pithampur Road, Indore 453556, (M.P). Candidates should send the application fee Rs. 5000/- through a demand draft / multicity cheque drawn in favour of “IIM Indore” (payable at par in Indore) along with the application form.

Incomplete Application forms will NOT be considered. Candidates MUST complete all parts of the Application Form or explain in the form why a part has NOT been completed. This is important to be considered for admission to the program.

The Candidate must have

  • A Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent
  • A valid CAT /GMAT® score. CAT 2015 score or a GMAT® score obtained between January 1, 2011 and December 31, 2015.
  • At least completed 5 years of Managerial / Professional Experience

Programme fee of Rs. 18,00,000 may be paid in three installments with an irrevocable bank guarantee as per mentioned below dates.

If paid in instalments (Candidates are expected to provide an irrevocable bank guarantee valid upto 04 February 2017 for INR 10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten lakhs only) along with the first instalment:-

  • A non-refundable commitment fee of INR 1,00,000/- + Service Tax and Education Cess* is to be paid at the time of acceptance of offer.
  • First Instalment – Before Registration, i.e, 14 April 2016, INR 7,00,000/- + Service Tax and Education Cess*
  • Second Instalment – Before 04 September 2016, INR 7,00,000 + Service Tax and Education Cess*
  • Third Instalment – Before 04 December 2016,  INR 3,00,000 + Service Tax and Education Cess*

The fee includes tuition, course material, access to library facilities, network /computer charges, lodging and boarding. All expenses towards International travel, visa, passport, lodging and boarding (international) etc. would have to be borne by the candidate. Expenses towards academic input (international) are included in the fee.

*Program Fees for the 2017-18 intake have not been released as yet.

IIM I EPGP offers both an offline and an offline admission process.  If a candidate applies via the offline process then his/her online form will be considered null and void.

Application Form:

The application form is a very important component of the IIM I EPGP application.  Every word in the application is vital and the overall presentation of the application forms should not be overlooked. IMS Experts will review your IIM I EPGP application form to ensure that messaging is consistent and presentation on target.

Application Essays:

Candidates shortlisted for the interview stage for the IIM I EPGP are required to submit application essays . It is through these documents that the IIM I EPGP admissions committee understands your story, your thought process and your ambitions. Your Statement of Purpose and Application Essays should cover the following themes:

  1. Your career goals
  2. Your accomplishments
  3. Your leadership potential
  4. Your ability to collaborate with people
  5. Your strengths and weaknesses.

You are evaluated on the basis of the impact you have – showcased via your essays. Your essays are a way for you to talk to the admissions committee and make a compelling case for your candidature.

Letters of Recommendation (LOR’s):

It is via your recommendation letters that the IIM I EPGP admissions committee gets an evaluation of your candidacy from a third party perspective. Your recommenders assess you on the following aspects:

  1. Your goals
  2. Your accomplishments
  3. Your leadership ability
  4. Your  teamwork ability
  5. Your analytical aptitude
  6. Your fit with the IIM I EPGP

Your recommendations have to be in synchronization with what you showcase in your application essays.

Test Scores:

The IIM I EPGP accepts both the GMAT® and CAT scores. Your performance on the GMAT® gives the admissions committee an understanding of your ability to cope with an academically rigorous curriculum.   However, no “cut off” criteria is applied to the GMAT® scores.
