MICA, established in 1991, is a top-rated institute offering a PGDM-C, equivalent to an MBA with specializations in Marketing Research, Digital Communication Management, Brand Management, Media Management, and Advertising Management. For admission into the PGDM-C, students have to take the MICAT Test along with any one of the other MBA entrance tests (CAT, XAT, GMAT).
Like last 2 years, MICAT is being conducted twice (MICAT I - 1st December 2018; MICAT II - 9th February 2019) for selection of Post Graduate Diploma Management in Communication for 2019-21 batch. Better of the two MICAT Scores will be considered.
MICAT is an online test of 2 hours 45 minutes, divided into 3 sections. It starts with the Psychometric test as Section A. This is a qualifying Test and only when a student clears it that his Section B and C is evaluated. It's then followed by Section B which includes Verbal ability, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, General awareness, Divergent & Convergent Thinking and Section C i.e Descriptive test which makes it a unique test. MICA considers CAT/XAT/GMAT scores along with MICAT scores to shortlist candidates for the GE-PI process.
