SNAP Paper Pattern and Marking Scheme

  • The SNAP Test 2025 will be in a Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. A candidate can appear for up to three tests for SNAP.
  • If a candidate appears for more than one test, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation and there will be no normalization.
  • A rigorous process that’s statistically tested will ensure that unique types of questions are framed under a specific topic across the question papers. Normal spread will ensure that there is no unfair advantage to candidates who opt for any specific test / multiple tests.
  • This will ensure normalization of the spread of questions across sections. Furthermore, the question papers will be normalized for the level of difficulty across all three tests. No correspondence regarding this will be entertained.

Conclusion SNAP Paper Pattern

SNAP allows multiple attempts. This is a massive advantage. You can take SNAP up to 3 times (December 6, 14, and 20 in 2025), and only your best score counts. SNAP is the fastest MBA entrance exam and with 1 minute per question, there’s no room for deliberation.

SNAP’s negative marking is gentler than CAT’s. Losing 0.25 marks per wrong answer (25%) is better than losing 1 mark per wrong answer (33% in CAT). No sectional time limits. Unlike CAT, where you’re locked into sections, SNAP lets you navigate freely.
