The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the Common University Entrance Test Undergraduate (CUET PG) admit cards. Candidates appearing for the exam can now download their hall ticket from the official CUET website with their application number and birthdate. 

The CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted across test centres in India in multiple shifts. The admit card contains details like the candidate’s name, roll number, exam centre, reporting time, paper details and exam-day instructions.

How to Download CUET 2026 Admit Card

Candidates who have registered for the CUET UG 2026 exam can download their admit card in the following steps:

  1. Visit the official CUET website.
  2. Click on the “CUET UG 2026 Admit Card” link.
  3. Enter your application number and date of birth.
  4. Submit the details to log in.
  5. Download and print the admit card for future reference.

As soon as you download your CUET UG admit card, go through all the details. In case of any discrepancy, notify the NTA helpdesk immediately for correction. Do not delay.

Important Tips for CUET UG 

Students who are appearing for CUET UG 2026 should keep some important points in mind, lest they are subjected to disqualification. 

  • Carry a printed copy of the admit card to the examination centre.
  • Bring a valid photo ID proof along with the hall ticket.
  • Reach the exam centre before the reporting time mentioned on the admit card.
  • Electronic gadgets, calculators, smart watches, and study materials are not allowed inside the examination hall.
  • Follow all instructions issued by invigilators and examination authorities.

Each CUET UG exam has a duration of 3 hours. A candidate may have to take a minimum of one subject and maximum of three subjects in a single shift. For instance, if a candidate is allotted three subjects in one shift, they will appear for the full three hours. If subjects are allotted, the candidate may complete the exam and leave the hall after two hours.

What is CUET UG?

CUET UG also known as the Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate programs is a national-level exam conducted by the NTA for admissions to UG courses like BA, BSc, BCom, BBA and BTEch. These exams are for admissions to central universities, state universities, deemed universities and other participating private colleges across India. 

What is the CUET UG Syllabus?

CUET UG is a computer-based test with three sections: Section IA (Languages), which covers 13 options lik English and Hindi; Section II (Domain-Specific Subjects) with up to 23 choices such as Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Business Studies, and Accountancy; and Section III (General Test) focusing on aptitude, quantitative reasoning, logical reasoning, and general knowledge. Candidates attempt 50 questions per subject (out of 50-75), with +5 marks for correct answers, -1 for incorrect, and no marks for unattempted. Total marks per subject reach 250, and the exam runs in multiple slots lasting 45-60 minutes each, available in 13 languages.

What is the Purpose of CUET UG?

Introduced to standardize UG admissions and reduce reliance on Class 12 board marks, CUET UG 2026 targets Class 12 passed/pappearing students for top universities like Delhi University, JNU, BHU, and AMU. Participants select up to five subjects aligned with their target program’s eligibility, making it essential for Science, Commerce, Arts, Engineering, Law, and Management streams.

The CUET UG 2026 syllabus draws from NCERT Class 12, with 37 total subjects and a focus on MCQ-based testing.
