CUET UG 2026: Subject-Wise Schedule To Be Released Soon At cuet.nta.nic.in

The National Testing Agency (NTA) will be releasing the subject-wise schedule for CUET UG 2026 soon on its official website. Once the CUET UG schedule is out, candidates can check the detailed timetable for every subject in a PDF format.  

The datasheet will contain important details for CUET UG students such as subject names, exam dates, slot timings, reporting time. The CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted over several days and sessions since a large number of students will attend it.  

The CUET UG 2026 exam dates are likely between May 11 and May 31, 2026. It will be conducted in a computer-based mode across multiple shifts. 

According to news reports, the subject-wise schedule is likely to be released in April 2026 third week.  

To access the schedule once released, candidates need to visit the official CUET website, open the schedule link, and download the PDF to view their subject-wise exam details.

What is CUET UG 2026?

The full form of CUET UG is Common University Entrance Test for Undergraduate programmes. It is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the NTA. It helps assess students for admissions to UG courses in Central Universities and participating institutions like State, Deemed and Private universities in India.

Why is CUET Important?

The CUET was introduced in its new form by the NTA, in partnership with the UGC, announced earlier, but implemented for UG admissions in 2022, CUET has quickly become the most preferred entrance exam for Indian students seeking admission to the top central and private universities.

What is the Eligibility Criteria for CUET UG 2026?

To be eligible for CUET UG 2026, students need to have passed Class 12 from a recognised board with a minimum of 45%. There is no age limit for CUET UG 2026 by the NTA; however, the universities themselves may have their own criteria. 

Only Indian nationals–including NRIs, OCIs, PIOs–are allowed to apply for CUET UG 2026. Students can choose any subject they want, regardless of their stream.

CUET UG 2026 Exam Pattern (Revised)

CUET UG has 3 sections. Students can choose up tp 5-6 subjects total:

  • All questions in CUET UG 2026 are multiple choice.
  • There are no optional questions in 2026 (uniform pattern).
  • Subjects like Entrepreneurship, Teaching Aptitude, Legal Studies, Performing Arts, have been dropped.
