IPMAT Eligibility Criteria 2026

IPMAT Indore Eligibility:

To be eligible, a candidate must fulfil the following criteria:

  1. The candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2006. 
  2. Applicants from the General or NC OBC categories must be no older than 20 years as of July 31, 2026, when filling out the IPMAT application form for 2026.
  3. The candidate must have successfully completed Standard XII/HSC or an equivalent examination in 2024 or 2025 or be appearing for it in 2026.
  4. While IIM Indore doesn’t mandate a minimum score in boards, it is advisable to score high since your board’s marks will have a lot of weightage in the overall composite score.

Note:

  • Applicants who will complete Standard XII/HSC or an equivalent examination by July 31, 2026, are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the above eligibility criteria. Should they be selected, their admission will be provisional.
  • When calculating percentages for Standard X and XII, candidates should include all subjects listed on the mark sheet, irrespective of the Board’s regulations regarding subject count.

IPMAT Rohtak Eligibility

To be eligible, a candidate must fulfil the following eligibility criteria:

  1. Candidates under General, OBC, and EWS categories, needs to have a minimum of 60% in both standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent exams.
  2. To qualify for SC, ST, and PWD (DAP) categories, candidates must have a minimum of 55% in both standard X/ SSC and standard XII/ HSC or equivalent exams.
  3. Furthermore, to apply, you must be 20 years of age and not more than that at the time of application.

  • You can apply if you complete Standard XII/ HSC or an equivalent course by June 30, 2026, only when you meet the eligibility criteria.
  • The candidate’s percentage of marks in X and XII standards will be calculated based on the aggregate marks of their best five subjects on the mark sheet/grade sheet. It’s regardless of the Board’s regulations.
