MAT may exam date

The MAT exam, conducted by AIMA and accepted by over 600 colleges in India, is held in four phases throughout the year. The first Feb-March phase is over, with the results having been declared on March 25th 2024. AIMA has also released the MAT May exam dates along with the registration process. Not just that, it has also introduced significant changes in the MAT exam pattern and MAT syllabus to make it more accessible for students. MAT 2024 May exam dates – MAT registration last date, admit card release date, and test date

The MAT exam is conducted in 3 modes; students can choose to either give it as a paper-based test, computer-based test, or remote proctored internet-based test from the comfort of their homes. MAT 2024 May exam registration process

The registration process for MAT is straightforward and can be done online by signing up on the official website – mat.aima.in

Just keep these documents handy when you’re filling out the MAT application form:

  • Valid Email Id
  • Scanned image of photograph (10 to 50 kb)
  • Scanned image of signature (5 to 20 kb)
  • Credit Card/Debit Card (ATM Card) or Net Banking details

Based on their preferences, students can choose from a variety of mode combinations to maximise their scores and secure admission to a top program.

(i) Remote Proctored Internet-Based Test (IBT)

(ii) Paper-Based Test (PBT)

(iii) Computer-Based Test (CBT)

(iv) Paper-Based Test and Remote Proctored Internet-Based Test (PBT+IBT)

(v) Double Remote Proctored Internet-Based Tests (IBT+IBT)

(vi) Computer-Based Test and Remote Proctored Internet-Based Test (CBT+IBT)

Along with each application, students can select up to 5 management institutes to send their scores to. And those who choose to take an additional test can select 7 institutes.

 

MAT 2024 May exam pattern

 

AIMA has introduced significant changes to the MAT exam pattern to make it more industry-ready and student-friendly. It has reduced the number of questions from 200 to 150 and the total time to 120 minutes. The new revised pattern now has 30 questions across 5 sections, namely, Language Comprehension, Intelligence and Critical Reasoning, Mathematical Skills, Data Analysis and Sufficiency, and Economic and Business Environment. The last section has replaced the previous Indian and Global Environment section.

The MAT marking scheme is the same as before – +1 for every right answer and -0.25 for every wrong one. Skipped questions accrue no marks.
