The Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) is the platform for aspiring law students to enter the prestigious law programs that Symbiosis International (Deemed University) offers. Since 2018, the SET – Law test has been known as the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT). This is conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode across various cities of India.

A candidate needs to register for SLAT 2024 & also register for the institutes offering his/ her choice of programmes by paying separate programme registration fees. If shortlisted, he/she would need to attend the further admission process conducted by each of these institutes individually.

Candidates are entirely and solely responsible for providing correct information during the application process. Suppose it is found that any information provided by the candidate at the time of filling/submitting the application form is invalid. 

 In that case, SIU can cancel the application or admission at any stage under its rules and regulations. Any direct or indirect attempt to influence the management and employees of the Institute will lead to the automatic disqualification of the candidate.

SLAT 2024 Application Form: Registration 

A candidate can appear for the SLAT exam on May 05, 2024 (Sunday) and May 11, 2024 (Saturday). If a candidate appears for multiple tests, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation. 

There will be no normalisation. This process has been statistically tested and will be administered to ensure unique questions are framed under a specific topic across the question papers. The average spread will ensure no unfair advantage to candidates who opt for any particular test / multiple tests. 

This will ensure the normalisation of the spread of questions across sections. Furthermore, the question papers will be normalised for the difficulty level across all two tests. No correspondence regarding this will be entertained.

Registration for these tests is done from the same portal as per the process mentioned below:

1. Register online on set-test.org (Registration closes on April 12, 2024 (Friday).

1. Note: No changes shall be permitted after the registration under any circumstances.

1. A candidate can appear for Exam SLAT on May 05, 2024 (Sunday) and May 11, 2024 (Saturday). If a candidate appears for multiple tests, the higher score will be considered for the final percentile calculation.

1. Upload your latest scanned colour passport-size photo at the time of Online Registration. (Your photograph should not be more than 04 months old).

1. Ensure that the information you have filled is accurate.

1. No changes shall be permitted after the registration under any circumstances. Candidates are fully and solely responsible for providing correct information during the application process. 

1. If it is found that any information provided by the candidate at the time of filling/submitting the application form is not accurate, SIU has the right to cancel the application or admission, at any stage, per its rules and regulations.

The SLAT 2024 registration must be completed online.  

Candidates can follow the steps below to fill out the application form for SLAT 2024.

1. Visit the official website of SET – set-test.org 
2. Click on the SLAT registration link.
3. Register as a new user using your email ID and phone number. Candidates should have a valid mobile number and email address to register themselves. The university will use the mobile number and email address for all communications.
4. Fill out the complete SLAT 2024 registration form by entering personal information, educational qualifications, communication details, and other relevant information.
5. Candidates must also upload a scanned copy of a colour photograph over four months old.

SLAT 2024 application fee payment:

Candidates must pay Rs 2,250 per test as the SLAT registration fee, irrespective of their categories. The application fee is non-refundable. The costs can be paid either online or through a Demand Draft. 

Candidates must also pay an additional programme registration fee of Rs. 1000 for each SLS course they wish to apply. Candidates can fill out the SLAT application form 2024 for both phases of the exam and pay the required registration fee.
