Overall Analysis
CAT 2022 was conducted on 27th November 2022 in three slots.
Some notable changes:
- New question type in Verbal Ability (Paragraph Completion)
- LRDI – 4 sets of 5 questions each
- QA was slightly more difficult compared to CAT 2021

Slot 1 Analysis
The first slot of CAT 2022 took place today between 8.30 am and 10:30 am.
The structure of CAT 2022 remained largely the same as in 2021. However, the DILR and Verbal sections saw some changes in segmentation and the number of MCQs and TITA. Verbal Section had 2 paragraph completion questions instead of the anticipated Odd Sentence questions. Overall, Slot 1 of CAT this year was slightly more difficult than Slot 1 of last year.

Slot 2 Analysis
The second slot of CAT 2022 took place today between 12.30 pm and 2:30 pm.
The structure of CAT 2022 remained largely the same as in 2021. However, the DILR and Verbal sections saw some changes in segmentation and the number of MCQs and TITA. Both the slots had the same pattern. The Verbal Section had 2 paragraph completion questions instead of the anticipated Odd Sentence questions. Overall Level of difficulty was on par with CAT 2022 Slot 1

The third slot of CAT 2022 took place today between 4.30 pm and 6:30 pm.
The structure of CAT 2022 remained largely the same as in 2021. However, the DILR and Verbal sections saw some changes in segmentation and the number of MCQs and TITA. All three slots had the same pattern. The Verbal Section had 2 paragraph completion questions instead of the anticipated Odd Sentence questions.
Overall, Slot 3 was slightly more difficult than the first two slots owing to more difficult QA and LRDI Sections, though it had an easier VARC section.

- If you have submitted your valid documents between 9:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m on business working days (Monday to Saturday excluding public holidays), we will verify the documents submitted and send you a coupon code for the applicable waiver within 4 working hrs.
- If you have submitted your valid documents after 7:00 PM or on non-working days you will receive the coupon code the next working day.
- Request all students to submit only valid documents. If any discrepancy is found during the verification or at a later stage, the access to the student’s account may be withdrawn.
- Once you get the Waiver Code, please apply the waiver code while filling the online enrolment form.
- Please do not make the payment without applying/availing the coupon code. If this is not followed, no refund will be provided for the extra fee paid with respect to the applicable waiver.
- Waiver policy and Prices are subject to change without prior notice and no refund will be provided under any circumstances.
- At any time, you can avail only ONE of the scholarships that the student is eligible for.
- Also, you cannot combine the scholarships with any other offers/ waivers offered by IMS at the time of enrolment.
- In case you are eligible for multiple scholarships/offers/waivers at the same time, the offer that gives you the maximum discount will be considered.
