How to Download the CAT Admit Card 2025?

The admit card for CAT 2025 exam will be available very soon from today onwards till 30th November 2025. You can download it by logging into the official website. Here are the exact steps you need to follow to do so:

1. Open the official CAT 2025 website – iimcat.ac.in.
2. Click on the ‘Admit Card / Application Form Download’ button.
3. You’ll be redirected to the login portal, where you must enter your user ID and password.
4. After you complete your CAT registration, ensure you input the correct user ID and password, as shared in your official email.
5. Once logged in, you’ll see the ‘CAT Admit Card’ tab on the top menu. Click on it.
6. Check all your details and download the admit card onto your device.
7. Don’t forget to keep two printouts of your admit card with you in case of emergencies.

Details to Check On Your CAT Admit Card

Your admit card is the most important document for the exam. Please make sure that all the details are correct and match your government-issued ID. Additionally, you can find the details about your test city and centre name with its location. Another aspect to keep in mind is your CAT slot. The CAT exam 2025 will happen in 3 slots – morning, afternoon, and evening. The time slots for the CAT exam are: 8:30 AM – 10:30 AM, 12:30 PM – 2:30 PM, and 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM.

You’ll have to reach your CAT exam centre based on your slot. The usual practice is to get the CAT exam centre at least one hour before exam time.

Facing Problems While Downloading Your Admit Card

Downloading your CAT admit card from the official website, while straightforward, can become challenging when the website crashes. Here is how you can make sure you  don’t face issues while downloading your admit card:

1. Avoid attempting to download during periods of heavy traffic. The iimcat.ac.in website has a tendency to crash when the traffic becomes too much to handle. Instead, download your admit card a few days after it is released. Early mornings and late nights also work well.
2. Check your browser once. Using an incompatible browser can prevent the admit card from being displayed. The same goes for your internet connection. Poor connectivity and slow internet speeds can frustrate your download.
3. There have also been instances where students have used incorrect credentials to attempt to log into the portal. Ensure the credentials you are using are the same as the ones you received via email after you registered for CAT.
4. Sometimes, using an unsecured connection can also keep the captcha from loading. As long as your connection is secure and unmetered, you shouldn’t have an issue.
5. While corrections in your admit card are not possible at this time, the authorities have made provisions for genuine cases. If you find any discrepancies in your CAT admit card or are unable to download it despite your best efforts, reach out to the authorities using these channels:
