CMAT registration 2026 – How to register for CMAT 2025?

The CMAT 2026 registration process is pretty straightforward. Follow these simple steps to register for it online well within the CMAT registration last date:

1. Visit the official website – cmat.ntaonline.in. You’ll find the ‘New Registration’ button, which will redirect you to the registration portal.
2. You’ll be asked to create a login ID after sharing a few personal details. Create a strong password.
3. Use the credentials you receive via email to log back into the portal and fill out the application form.
4. Upload a copy of your scanned signature and passport-sized photo.
5. Pay the CMAT registration fees online. General/ EWS/ OBC-NCL male candidates have to pay Rs. 2500 while female as well as reserved category candidates have to pay Rs. 1250.
6. Wait for the confirmation window before logging back out.

CMAT 2026 Registration Date

The CMAT registration began on 17th October 2025. In previous years, it started by mid-February, but this year, it has been preponed by a few weeks. CMAT 2026 Admit Card Date

We expect the CMAT 2026 admit cards to be released in January 2026. Students can download them from the official website after logging in. It is advised to print out at least two copies of this critical document and carry them to the centre. Ensure that your details are correct and match the ones on your government-issued identification.

CMAT 2026 Exam Date

The CMAT exam date has been scheduled for January 2026. The exam will have 100 questions spread across 5 sections – Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, General Awareness, and Innovation & Entrepreneurship – for a total of 400 marks. It is a speed-based test with only 180 minutes to answer the 100 questions. Students must also keep in mind that there is a negative marking of -1 for every incorrect answer. Good scores generally range from 250 to 345.

CMAT 2026 Answer Key Date

The provisional CMAT 2026 answer key will be released shortly after the exam is concluded. Students can compare the key to their response sheets to estimate their CMAT scores. If they need to challenge a question, they can do it before the final answer key release date. Once all the challenges have been addressed, the agency will release the final answer key along with the result.
