Allahabad University admission through CUET 2024: The University has adopted a new scheme of admission process since last year that will allow admission to the university through the new Common Entrance Test (CUET). This is a big move for the university as it takes a step towards including millions of students from across India, offering an equal and fair platform for all students who wish to apply at Allahabad University admission through CUET.

NTA instructs all central universities to take part in CUET, and the university is encouraging eligible students to apply for CUET Entrance Exam 2024 as soon as CUET application forms are out.

Phase 2 Allahabad University admission through CUET 2024

  • The last online registration will be published here.
  • There will be a one-time registration fee (Non-Refundable) of Rs.300/- (for UR/OBC/EWS category) and Rs.150/- (for SC/ST/PwD categories).
  • Candidates must keep their NTA Application Number and NTA Roll Number ready to complete the Online Registration for the University of Allahabad.
  • All details of the candidate, such as Date of Birth, Gender, Caste (if applicable), and selected UG Courses, should be the same as per the NTA application form. Any mismatch in the information will lead to the cancellation of the candidature.
  • Candidate must keep ready passport size Photograph, Signature, Marksheets (10th and 12th) and other relevant Documents such as Caste Certificate, Income Certificate, Transfer/Migration Certificate, etc., in jpg or pdf format (as per the requirement).
  • Candidates must be prepared to pay the online registration fee before filling out the form.
  • Candidates must read, understand and familiarize themselves with the University of Allahabad eligibility requirements.

Allahabad University admission through CUET 2024: Eligibility Requirements

The CUET Eligibility criteria for each UG course offered at Allahabad University are listed below.

Bachelor of Performing ArtsFor BA (Music)/B.P.Application forms only those candidates would be considered who have Music as one of the subjects at the Intermediate level or they have passed an equivalent examination in Music from a recognised Institution.
Bachelor of Fine ArtsAn applicant who has passed or appeared in any stream of the Intermediate Examination conducted by the U.P. Board/C.B.S.E./I.C.S.E. or an examination by any State Board. The equivalence, as defined in University Ordinances-2008, is decided from time to time.
BALLB(1) who, at the time of joining the course of study in Law for a Degree in Law, has passed an examination in 10+2 or 11+1 course of schooling recognised by the Academic Council of the University or possesses such academic qualifications which are considered equivalent to 10+2 or 11+1 courses by the Bar Council of India, and (2) who have secured 45% marks in case of general, 42% in case of OBC category and 40% for SC/ST in the qualifying examination.
IPS / Centre of Vocational StudiesA 10+2 passed student from a recognised board in the Science / Commerce Stream. In case the student has passed class 10+2 from a recognised board other than Science / Commerce, he/she must have studied Mathematics / Statistics / Information Technology / Computer Science / Information Science as one of the subjects in class XII.

The equivalence, as defined in University Ordinances-2008, as decided from time to time.
Bachelor of Arts (BA)1.An applicant who has passed or appeared in any stream of the Intermediate Examination conducted by the U.P. Board/C.B.S.E./I.C.S.E. or an examination by any State Board. The equivalence, as defined in University Ordinances-2008, as decided from time to time.

 2. An applicant who has passed or appeared at the above-mentioned examination with Art group, Science group or Commerce group is eligible for B.A course.

 3. Special conditions: 

i- Eligibility for Admission in B.A. (Opt) Music/BPA: Student must have Music in Intermediate level. 

ii- Eligibility for Admission in B.A. (Opt) Geography: Students must have Geography or Science in the Intermediate level. 

iii- Eligibility for Admission in B.A. (Opt) Urdu: Student must have Urdu in the Intermediate level.

Bachelor of Science B.Sc. (Family and Community Sciences) /Home ScienceOnly such female applicants who have passed or appeared at the Intermediate Examination conducted by the U.P. 

Board/C.B.S.E./I.C.S.E. or an equivalent examination either with (a) Science Group, or (b) With any other Group having Home Science as one of the subjects after having passed the High School (or equivalent) examination with Science Group are eligible to apply for the Undergraduate Admission Test for B.Sc. (Family and Community Science) (Home Science).
