IISc Bangalore will be conducting GATE 2024 on February 3rd, 4th,10th and 11th in 30 papers. IMS GATE Academy will be conducting the GATE paper analysis on the same day of the examination on our YouTube platform of IMS GATE Academy, in which our Mentors across different specializations will be discussing the shortest approach to solving the questions, the difficulty level of the paper and the marks weightage of the different subjects.

Over the past few years, it has been observed that the difficulty level of the questions has fluctuated from Easy to moderate for some years, and moderate to hard for some years. 

 

The computer Science and Engineering paper for GATE contains the highest numbers of MSQ and NAT questions, which makes the paper lengthy sometimes. Particularly in those years when the difficulty level of the paper is easy to moderate.

The syllabus of the Electronics and Communication GATE paper has the least number of subjects across all the papers, due to which the difficulty level of this paper is always moderate to hard level. 

 

Over the past few years, it was observed that more questions are framed from the latest trend in technologies of VLSI design, Embedded systems and Communication networks.
