To be eligible for this program, candidates must have completed their Class 12/XII/HSC examination with a minimum of 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates) in the Arts, Commerce, or Science stream or its equivalent. Additionally, candidates must have passed their Class 10 examination in the year and not before 2019 with a score of at least 60% (55% for SC/ST/PwD candidates).

These recognised boards include the State Boards of Secondary Education, the Central Board of Secondary Education, and the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination.
  2. Completion of Intermediate or two-year Pre-University Examination conducted by a recognised University/ Board.
  3. In the Senior Secondary School Examination (SSSE), candidates must have passed at least five subjects, including English, from the National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) or the State Board of Open Schooling (SBOS).
