Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is the mandatory entrance exam for the various MBA programs offered by the 16 constituent institutions. The test itself is conducted by Symbiosis International University every year for over 1 lakh aspirants. In fact, 2023 saw record participation from students – numbering a total of 1.44 lakh registrations. This, in addition to the changes in the exam pattern, had pushed the SNAP cutoff 2023 higher.

The cutoff for SIBM Pune, the top-ranked MBA college under SIU, will have an expected cutoff of 98%ile, i.e. 43+ marks, although students have been known to get calls at 96%ile too. For SCMHRD, the second-best college that accepts SNAP scores, the cutoff percentile will hover at 97%ile, which means a score of 42+ marks.

The 16 Symbiosis colleges will start releasing their SNAP cutoff percentiles after declaring the SNAP 2025 results in January 2026. The candidates who clear the SNAP cutoff 2025 will be called for further selection rounds of MBA admissions, including a written Ability Test (WAT), Group Exercise (GE), and Personal Interview (PI).
