Now, let’s review some of the more critical details about the SNAP 2023 exam.

How is the SNAP 2023 score calculated?

The marking scheme for SNAP 2023 is straightforward.

  • For every correct answer, you’re awarded 1 mark.
  • For every incorrect one, you get -0.25 marks.
  • For questions you do not attempt, no marks are given.
  • There are a total of 60 questions spread over 3 sections, totalling about 60 marks.
  • This total is further scaled down to a score out of 50 marks for consideration for the shortlisting process.

What is the SNAP 2023 admission process?

You guessed it right. Your SNAP score alone won’t suffice for admission to the top programs. Clearing the SNAP 2023 cutoff will only net you a GDPI call. Your final admission offer rests on how you perform in the group discussion, personal interview, and writing ability test, apart from your score. Here’s the specific weightage awarded to each round:

Tests Weightage for Final Merit List
SNAP Score (out of 150, scaled down to 50 marks) 50
Group Exercise (GE) 10
Personal Interaction (PI) 30
Writing Ability Test (WAT) 10
Total 100

As you can see, the GDPI accounts for 50% of your overall score. Anyone aiming to get a seat in SIBM or SCMHRD must prep properly for the GDPI. The IMS GDPI Classroom program is perfect for you if your goal is to crack the top SIU MBA colleges. The program covers 6 classroom sessions, 30+ live online sessions, 10+ recorded sessions, 5+ mock interviews, and personalised mentorship to prepare you for the gruelling GDPI.
