IIM Indore conducts IPMAT for admissions to its Integrated Program in Management course. The IPM course has been designed for aspirants who wish to build a stronger foundation in management through an interdisciplinary approach to higher education. What is IPMAT Indore?
IIM Indore launched the 5 year IPMAT course in 2011. The Association of MBAs, London (4th and 5th Year) accredits this course. The IPMAT full form is Integrated Program for Management Aptitude Test. IIM Indore conducts it for its 5-Year Integrated course that includes both a BBA (or B.A.) as well as an MBA degree. Students also get ton join summer internship placements during the IPM courses. IPMAT Indore Syllabus
The IPMAT Indore syllabus includes three sections:
- Quantitative Ability: This section has multiple-choice questions with 25 questions in total. Each question will have 4 choices with 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 negative mark for an incorrect answer. The section will also have short-answer type questions without any negative marking.
- Verbal Ability: This section evaluates the English language skills with multiple-choice questions on vocabulary and grammar.

IPMAT Indore: Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible, a candidate must meet the following criteria:
- The candidate should have been born on or after August 01, 2005. However, candidates belonging to the SC/ST/PwD categories are given a 5-year relaxation, making their eligible birth date on or after August 01, 2000.
- The candidate must have successfully completed the Standard XII/HSC or an equivalent examination in the years 2023, 2024 or appearing for it in 2026.
- A minimum score of 60% is required in both Standard X/SSC and Standard XII/HSC or equivalent examinations for general candidates. For candidates from the SC/ST/ PwD categories, the required minimum score is lowered to 55%.
Note:
- Applicants who will complete Standard XII/HSC or an equivalent examination by July 31, 2024, are also eligible to apply, provided they meet the above eligibility criteria. Should they be selected, their admission will be provisional.
- When calculating percentages for Standard X and XII, candidates should include all subjects listed on the mark sheet, irrespective of the Board’s regulations regarding subject count.

Selection Process of IPMAT Indore Program
The selection process is very detailed for students to choose the best candidates. The application process evaluates the applicants proficiency in academics and co-curricular activities. The next is an entrance exam to test the aptitude, logical reasoning, and English proficiency and Math.

IPMAT Indore 2026 Application Form
The registration process for IPMAT Indore 2026 is simple. The instructions are here:
- Visit the official IIM Indore website. You’ll have to register on the portal first.
- Fill out the details on the form and generate your user ID and password.
- Ensure you’re careful while filling in the details, as your name, DoB, email address, and phone number cannot be changed later.
- You’ll receive your user ID on your registered email account and password on the registered phone number.
- Use these credentials to log back in and complete your registration process.
- You will also need to keep the scanned copies of documents such as 10th and 12th mark sheets and Aadhar ready to upload when prompted.
- Choose your test centre and complete the payment.
- The IPMAT Indore 2026 registration fees are Rs. 4130 for general, EWS, and NC-OBC candidates, while it is Rs. 2065 for the SC, ST, and PwD ones.
- The IPMAT application error correction window will be open for two days after the last IPMAT Indore 2026 registration date.
- Candidates can correct errors such as Candidate’s Photo, Candidate’s Signature, Alternate Mobile Number, Alternate Email Address, and Exam Centre City Preferences.
- All the edits can only be made once.
- After the allotted two days, no changes will be allowed.
IPMAT Indore Complete Selection Process
IPMAT Indore 2026 Admit Card
The IIM Indore will issue admit card on its official portal, usually, at the beginning of May. The admit card contains critical exam-day information such as the test centre, time of the exam, reporting time, and do’s and don’ts for the exam day. Taking a physical copy of the IPMAT Indore 2026 admit card to the exam centre is mandatory.
