What is GATE?

The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) is a national-level exam for admission to top M.Tech/MS programs in premier Indian and select international universities. What is the Eligibility Criteria for taking the GATE ?

Candidates in the 3rd year or higher of an undergraduate degree, or those who have already completed a degree in Engineering, Technology, Science, Architecture, Commerce, or Arts are eligible for GATE, with no age limit.

What is the Test Structure for GATE?

GATE is a 3-hour computer-based exam with 65 questions for 100 marks.
It covers General Aptitude (15 marks), Engineering Mathematics (13 marks), and Core Subject (72 marks) through MCQ, MSQ, and NAT question types, testing both conceptual and problem-solving skills.

What is the validity of the IMS GATE Program?

The online content will be valid until 31st March following the exam year that you have enrolled for.(For example, for GATE 2027, the online content will be accessible until 31st March 2027).
