• Age:
  • General Category: Born on or after July 01, 2005
  • SC/ST/DA Category: 5 years of relaxation. Born on or after July 01, 2000.

  • General Category: Minimum of 60% in 10th grade/SSC examinations and 12th grade/HSC or equivalent examinations are required.
  • SC/ST/DA Categories: Minimum 55% in 10th and 12th.
  • Candidates, likely to complete 12th/ HSC or equivalent by July 31, 2025, can also apply.
  • Candidates must have studied mathematics or applied mathematics in the 11th and 12th grades.

• Entrance Exam:
  • Applicants must have appeared for the IPMAT conducted by IIM Indore. IIM Shillong will consider the IPMAT scores for shortlisting candidates for the Personal Interview (PI) process.

How to Apply for the IPM Program at IIM Shillong?

The application process has begun for IIM Shillong IPM and will be live till 10th July 2025 until further extended. The IIM Shillong will accept the IPMAT Indore 2025 scores for admission, so you must have appeared for IPMAT Indore conducted on May 12, 2025.

What’s the Admission Process for the IIM Shillong IPMAT Program 2025?

  • You must register for IPMAT Indore 2025 and complete the application before the deadline.

What’s the Program Fee for IIM Shillong IPM?

As per the official website of IIM Shillong, the fee structure for the IPM program is as mentioned below:

• Non-Academic expenses include Hostel fees, IT Infrastructure, Student welfare, and Health Insurance.
• The Fee for the 1st year also includes the acceptance fee.
• Alumni fees of Rs. 10,000 and a Caution Deposit (Refundable) of Rs. 20,000 are in addition to the fee and expenses mentioned above and are to be paid at the time of admission.
• Mess Bills are to be paid as per actuals in advance (in addition to Fees and Expenses mentioned herein).
• The fee does not include travel and stay expenses towards local and global immersion; these would be charged as per actuals.
• Costs associated with the study abroad program will be charged separately, based on actuals, and are not included in the current fee estimate.
• If a candidate exits the program before completing the Bachelor’s degree, GST will be applicable on the fees paid up to that point. This component will have to be paid before exiting the program
